05/15/1910 Mediterranean Triumvirate L'Escala. L'Escala / Costa Brava

In ancient Roman, they called triumvirate to each of the three persons who formed a committee or association. Many aspects of political, administrative, social, legal and religious of Rome was governed by this procedure college.

The Triumvirate is the name that designates each of the political alliances that preceded the establishment of the Roman Empire. L' Escala has chosen this name for this recreational activity because it represents an alliance between three cultures (indiquetas, Greek and Roman) and three organizers (City of L'Escala, UBET and Archaeology Museum of Catalonia - Empúries) that have a common purpose.

Mediterranean complement focuses the geographical area where is developped both story and the current activity. It is the link between past and present.
